Hi CS
I suffer from SAD too, as well as regular depression, though like you I quite often get very activated in the summer. I lost all my energy about 2nd week in September and feel terrible now. I tried all the things you have, nothing much helped last year. I take antidepressants all year round, I've tried paxil, reboxetine, remeron and now I'm trying wellbutrin. Nothing has produced lasting results, but I've had some good spells.
I hoping to have a consult with a SAD specialist in the UK soon.
I may try brighter lights this year, ie a big light box (last year I used the visor lights only)Regards
Leonado> Hello-wondering if anyone hear suffers from Seasonal Affective Disorder? If so do you have the summer or winter depression? What type of things do you do to ease it? I have the winter depression type-where I get very unmotivated during the winter-I don't eat or sleep well, and I don't feel like exercising. In the summer I go completely the other way and do tons of things. I usually take anti-depressants during the winter, try to walk outdoors when possible and use a light box. CS
