Cass,
I'm so glad to hear you got up and out with your dog. I think change of place can really help, even if it is only for a short time. Sometimes I feel like my house has a haze of depression in it (but much less so now that I live alone). So if I can get out, it helps. Sometimes I open all my windows and let new, fresh air come in.Oh, our wonderful eccentricities.
Thanks for sticking it out, glad you are here.

> Today I got up and took my dog for a walk. I've been inside a lot lately, and the air felt soft and intoxicating. I had been feeling really guilty about all the time my dog is spending indoors because of me and my depression. The guilt has eased up a little.
> I wish I could put my finger on something that would determine what causes me to have depressions like this, so that I could change it and be sure it never, ever happens again.
