Lonely in San Diego

Posted by Glenn Fagelson on May 18, 2001, at 20:46:28

I have been really feeling down. I have so much trouble getting motivated when I am depressed. I
long for companionship, but the more I look for it;
the more it eludes me. I guess it is like chasing
after my own shadow. I still see a psychiatrist for
medications, but for the past few months I have been
involved in alternative medicine in order to cure
my depression. Hypnosis has really been helping me,
but because I have been depressed since childhood, my
social skills are not as great as others. Don't get
me wrong; I am a very good conversationalist; I just
do not seem to have the skills for small talk.
Tonight, I thought about psycho-social babble. So... if anyone wants to talk, I'm here.
Thanks, Glenn
