For the same reason that certain drugs poop out after a while in their effectiveness, maybe therapists poop out as well.Perhaps your therapists feels she has given you the most you'll ever get from her, and the rest is up to you. If you feel you need more, but can't get it from this present one, then do yourself, as well as her, the favor and find a new one. Have her recommend another one, if they do that sort of thing today.
There's no betrayal here. Don't even think there is. Her primary function is to help you and if means directing you to another level of therapy via another therapist for the help she can't give anymore, then accept it and do it.
I rest my case.
