Sorry, Willow, i misunderstood you. I thought you were taking about people having trouble with reality and people having trouble with children, not about exposing children to the reality. I think both are good in moderation!
I came to understand that "reality" should be taken into consideration, but not very much respected. This is what I teach my son and other children. being able to dare and change 'reality' is quintessential for happiness. Whatever and whomever we love must become reality. And from this point on engaging in dreaming again and making next dream come true.
