Hey girl,
Thanks for your sweet wishes.
You know, I forgot all about that tape. I'm so glad you mentioned it. The first couple nights I would fall asleep to it... then I kind of forgot. Lately I've been getting the cravings... so I'll stick the ol tape in , have at it , and see what it does.
Thanks for the reminder.
Did you read the tread where I am learning how to hypnotize????? Then I can do it for you..... altho I can halp you with the weigh without hypnosis if you want.... was a trainer for many years.... altho you'd probably like your hypnotist better..... I was a tough ass.
Thanks for your caring.... and I loved you comment about how you quit all the time. Take care kiddo, Kristi

> I'm glad your surgery went relatively well; the idea of what happened to you is what lawyers are for! Go for it- you deserve every penny you get. (and then some.) I abhor even the thought of surgery. I had my one and only panic attack (I think that's what it was) right before anesthesia and I'll do anything to avoid feeling that way ever again. I can't imagine having to endure as many surgeries as you have.
> I wanted to comment on your smoking cessation. When I last quit (I'm really good at it, I've done it lots of times!! :-)), the hypnotherapist gave me a tape of the session to listen to at home. I too could have smoked as soon as I left his office, but since he confiscated my cigs, I didn't. Anyway, I scoffed at it at the time, but in retrospect I think the tape really did help, especially during those times when you're saying to yourself "Now why am I doing this again?". I really wish you luck. My stopping only lasted 8 months (the longest I've ever quit for), but I think I'll try acupuncture next time. My pdoc says he was amazed at how well it worked for him. Now if I could only find a hypnotherapist for weight control....Since I quit drinking at the beginning of the summer, I've been eating everything that isn't nailed down. And I think I'd rather be a thin alchy than a fat sober person! That's my whine for the day. Get better fast.
