He is/was a stand-up comedian but decided to base his TV show on his life's experiences. He's a young guy with an ex-alcoholic father, a mother that was in the hospital for many years for mental illness, something like 4 step-mothers, & a step-brother who lived with them whose real mother & father weren't even around.

Ya, I am from Canada, and enjoy the outdoors, but I love watching tv shows on the outdoors, and animals, and such. The exotic ones are interesting, as you are right, for most of us, it's about as close as we will get!Anyhow...thanks for the post!
