Applying for jobs

Man, I'm applying for "good" jobs with benefits. Sickness led to ambition. If I can at least have financial stability, I figure.
It's tough waiting it out. It's been a month since I started looking. I have one offer (starting July 8) for a boring job (doing TTY typing), but it pays well. Meanwhile, I'm applying at a lot of other good places -- really hoping to get hired by the Compimentary Medicine division of the local hospital.
Were you ever scared of going back to 'normal' life and having to act 'normal' even when you don't feel like it?
