I don't know why I don't have any quirks (at least in THAT way) but nothing bothers me that causes me to act in a certain manner like that. Perhaps it's because, despite other weaknesses, I have no obsessive-compulsive tendencies. Doesn't what you describe for yourself sound like it may be a very minor, but not overly bothersome, compulsion?
It's one area that I'm rather clueless in as I've never experienced something similar. And yes, I do think I'm blessed not to be bothered by it. Telling someone to ignore something like that is probably easier to say than do.
