North Wind

This morning I watched my kitchen lace curtain flutter as the north wind blew in. I thought it will soon be time to close the windows for the evening to keep the frosty chill out and let them stay open during the afternoon for a bit to air out the house. Each season brings a transition. And the autumn has such a sweet one, because the children are BACK TO SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!! The northern breeze plucked them right out the door onto the schoolbus. YEAH, I survived!! Now I'm off to hang the clothes out, dryer bit the dust, and then for a long hopefully undisturbed sleep.
CHEERS to all parents sending there little ones off today!
