My gf is thinking Chicago would be better, as her degree is from the University of Wisconsin and may be more marketable in the midwest.
Luckily, Northwestern University has a cog. sci. program that looks as good as the one at Johns Hopkins -- _and_ -- I know it's weird, but when I was 18 (10 years ago) I helped create a scholarship in my hometown and it was named after me -- and a few students have gone there on 'my' scholarship. So that could help me get in, I think.
I am feeling calm either way. Just wish there was a way to gaze into a crystal ball and find out what would make us happier.
