Warning: The following message is a mini-rant that is the end result of a sugar binge.
I've been trying so hard all week to eat healthier and cut out many of the sugar and carbs that are so readily available. (I work right next to a cafe and the fumes from the grille waft into my cube and tempt me everyday.) It was going so well and then one of my ever-supportive co-workers (yeah, right) brought in a vat of chocolate goodies for her desk. Oh the temptation!
I resisted for a while and then she left for the day and I went completly overboard. Snickers, Twix bars and Milky Ways all found their way into my greedy little hands...and then into my mouth. Although my chocolate meal was quite tasty, I'm sooo disappointed with myself.
Ugh! Why can't they invent a magical pill that helps with willpower? ;-) It's pretty apparent that I have none.
Maybe someone can invent a car similar to KITT in the old Knight Rider episodes that would drive me home and not allow me to stop and pickup more scrumptious delights...
OK, my mini-rant is over but my sugar craving is not... Any suggestions to keep me away from my temptations?
