Weekends ; should be wonderful but..

I spend the working week looking forward to the weekend, with the connotations of not having to use up lots of energy, or have work stress, or commuting, and spend time exactly as I like (apart from the chores).
But actually, although I appreciate catching up on sleep, the weekends arent actual all that easy or fun. I get more out of weekends in the summer, when I can potter and sit in the sun in the garden.
Do other people find the weekends a bit tough?
(I do appreciate that I am v lucky that I have a job- must be an awful lot worse if dont/cant work).
