Amy,
I'm currently taking cymbalta (20mgs) and inderal LA (60mgs) per day. The cymbalta is the only AD that's ever done me any good without intolerable SE's. The inderal is for high blood pressure which is tied to being 30lbs overweight. I'm very sensitive to being overweight and my pulse and bp climb proportionally.
What's really great about inderal (especially the long-acting "LA" variety) is that it helps with anxiety and seems to help with cymbalta's anti-cholengeric effect.
I'm also doing better now that I haven't drank in over a month. I'm also planning to take the DBT skills course for borderline personality disorder on my own at home. My Dx is atypical depression, PTSD, and BPD, although I haven't self-injured (in an obvious way) since my early 30's.
I would welcome any suggestions or ideas you may have. I still find life unfulfilling and unenjoyable - and that's on a good day!
