Sure, my university cloned a sheep (Dolly) a while back...

Hmm. Timmy would still be dead, ya know.

> What do you think of cloning?

Needs to get better. The clone ages too fast and dies too quickly for a start.

> Do you think God would get pissed if we started having humans manufactured?,

Why on earth should he? It is just another form of reproduction.

> That would be creepy to have your pet cloned

Why?

A clone is just the same genetically.
Identical twins are the same genetically.
We don't clone one adult into another identical adult.
We make a 'baby' copy of the adult.
(Like having an identical twin many years younger than yourself)
It will have a different personality because it has different foods and experiences (and thus memories) and so forth.
Even if we were able to clone an adult human into another one and by some magic feat 'memories' etc were duplicated as well then their pathways would still diverge from that moment because they are located in two different places and thus have different experiences.

But of course we can't do that. How could we short of copying not just the DNA but the whole body and brain as well!!!

Not much chance we will ever be able to build a biological human being by mixing the chemicals or atoms together...

I think that there is a lot of fear mongering and mass media hype about cloning.

We can't do very well at it yet anyways...
