What do you mean you missed the news, Toph?? I mean seriously, my birthday is at minimum a local holiday. Didn't you see Ron Magers lead off with "Laurie - a 33 year retrospect"? Hmm, you must have been busy that day.

I did get a very nice gift from my son and his daddy, but I have to admit the "I love you"s are *way* better than anything. He's only three. I figure I have at least a few years left, but I have to enjoy them while they last.
