is better than never to have loved at all. Something like that.. Shakespeare? I used to think of that and think it was the saddest thing I ever heard. That the one who's lost, is forever living in grief, and pain. But now I've been there, I'm on the other side of the road looking back at where I was, and I can see it now, that this is actually a joyful way of being. Losing isn't what matters, being alone, being without the loved one. What matters and what makes everything okay is the forever love you feel, that keeps going.. because losing, not having what you love, makes every life moment from thereon in, more poignant, each moment more fully felt. Who wrote that? Because it's brilliant, absolutely brilliant. It looks sad on the outside but it's full of joy and wonder, on the inside.
