I was really scared of all sorts of things. I don't think they are illogical fears as a child, however. Lots of things are scary to children and it makes perfect sense in their head. There's usually a reason for what we're scared of. But it doesn't make it easier if other people don't understand.
I was always scared that the house would burn down, myself, even though nothing close to that ever happened. It frightened me so much, and I would imagine I smelled smoke and have nightmares and such. I also was really afraid of getting kidnapped because my parents drummed the stranger-danger thing into my head. And I was scared someone would break in the house. Those were my biggest fears. If I really think about ghosts, I can get pretty freaked out about that, but it doesn't come spontaneously, I have to hear a story or something.
