I always knew I loved you!
Of course who doesn't.I've had friends like that too, I play dressup, it's a game, I like it, it's fun, but they spent more time and energy debating whether or not a woman should shave her armpits, than I ever thought about it.
Okay, sometimes I shave and sometimes I dont'.. whatever..It's priority dammit..
When you hear adults talk about their childhood fondly, there's always an aunt who taught them about French perfume, or one who lived on Whiskey and Harlequins..
If the child is raised by parents who allow them to follow who they are, then when they get older they'll choose what parts they want to keep and what parts don't belong.I used to wear practically nothing but red or black velvet shifts for years, my feminist friends, a few of the more political ones, gave me a hard time about it, but you know, those shifts were way more comfortable to me than jeans.
I heard a story about a French feminist who went to speak on women's rights at a College in the U.S
and she asked "Why do all the feminists here wear such ugly shoes?"
