To be totally honest Kath, I didnt have a defining moment when my problem with numbers disappeared, all I can say is that as I got towards my thirties I sort of changed - grew up a little maybe. I'd had a really bad time (homeless,drugs) in my mid-late teens, followed by seemingly lurching from one bag of trouble to another in my early twenties.
My husband and I hit melt down in our relationship when I was 26,which we managed to overcome,and after that things started to kind of 'clear' and I settled down,finally!I still have some tendencies, like the volume on the tv/radio mustnt be on,or add up to certain numbers, but I think it's more from habit now.
I also Have my kitchen drawers lined with bubble wrap, and cupboards lined with paper, and I probably wash my hands a lot more than most people! I can live like this though.Warm regards
