Outdoor Antenna for old radio..question

Posted by rjlockhart04-08 on February 2, 2010, at 20:25:07

I have a old radio that recieves signal's that are....mmm I don't know what modulation it is, but it can pick up signal's that are "not" usally heard on AM/FM radio....there not like "hearing the police" or anything, but it's an old radio...and it just picks up wierd signal's, what kind of antenna do I need? It's a 1930's model that also requires a "ground" connection, it's really neat. Wonder if I can hear world news from China...ha!

Would an Outdoor Antenna boost the signal, because most outdoor antenna's pick up UHF/VHF/FM

Also what channel's could I get with just a old antenna? just the plane jane thing, do you have to have a converter box for the tv?

anyone?
