Well, thank you very much, and I feel likewise. :)
I did have a conversation with floatingbridge about "odd", and I don't really think of it as a bad thing. I like quirky people, and am drawn to them far more than "normal" people.
But my therapist is actually pretty normal, however much he denies it. He values traditional qualities. I don't think he sees odd as a particularly good thing. He's grown fond of me over time, but when he says things like that it never quite comes across as approval, if you know what I mean. Not that he's mean about it, and he even presents it as a good thing, but I always suspect he feels a bit sorry for me.
Which is ok. I don't expect someone as normal as he is to really understand.
