it is hard to know without more specific feedback. it might be that your manner rubs people up the wrong way. if you interact with people without doing a whole couple minutes worth of looking and smiling and generally making sure the other person is at ease then people will often interpret you as being rude or abrasive or whatever.
it might be that your social reciprocity judgements are off. for example, some people might give you things... and you don't keep an appropriate mental track of that in order to reciprocate appropriately. they reckon that depressed people tend to underestimate what others do for them and overestimate what they do for others (compared to how others judge them, anyway).
it might be that you misinterpret others intentions. that other people make friendly gestures or whatever and you see malevolent intent.
