i am *so glad* i did not apply to law school in nz. i thought about it...

and decided not. and then i did a class in statutory interpretation and... was glad that i decided not.

because there was a 'word salad' about it -- the way there is about 'critical reasoning'. where the idea seems to be, more, to jumble the grades up which has the effect that people who are generally smart and capable of reading comprehension start to doubt their capacity to understand.

because they are trying to find rhyme or reason in precedent judgements, i suppose. that would be like trying to pick out what the people who get into medicine have in common without knowing how much they paid the courts. i mean the medical school. i mean the university. i mean the testing people. i mean the courts. trying to find rhyme or reason...

law withotu a sense of justice...

medicine without a sense of health. wellbeing. flourishing for people.

just keeping the money going where the money goes...

of course it's not about the money at all.

it's about everything else.

oh mighty leader. we just sit about singing your praises all day.
