> So, today isn't the first time that I've had this freak out, but still. I have no idea. This is my last semester, and I've realized that the degree i have is pretty much useless. I was talking with someone and it was like "no offence, but if someone was going to teach my kid a language, I'd want them to be fluent in it." And after 4 years, and more money than I care to think about, I'm not really. Do I pay more to finish off this useless degree? Do I start again in something else... no idea what else, but something else? Do I just keep going on this path. I think I'd like to teach, but can you really teach a subject you know, sorta? So, is there any point in going into education? Is there somethign else I can do with my life? I know people say you can do anything you want, and it's easier to restart when you're young, but I've spent so much time and so much money that I really can't start over. Not without some kind of plan. And I don't have any kind of plan right now
Education is more than having a degree. It's an experience. Have you enjoyed the experience?
Do you have a career center at your school? Academic advisor? Mentor/professor? I suggest you speak with someone before making any major decision. They can help guide you in the right direction.
I hope that's helpful.
