Hi Simcha!
Hun, I'm worried about you now. By no means am I trying to be a mother here. I just want you to know that I hope you take care of yourself with this issue. I did the same thing with Vicodin and if I had some or got my hands on some, I would probably go back to taking it *once in a while* probably every day.
These feelings we get from these types of drugs are indeed a high in my opinion, and makes me wonder anyway why do we need psych meds for depression~hey I'll just take Vicodin or some codeine cough-syrup, and all is good.
I know it was posted here a few days back about *really* needing the stuff when you do and you have become immune to it because of this *self medicating* so it may not help when you do really need it. I know there are reasons for doing it, heck there were for me when I was abusing Vicodin. Tylenol 3 this past April.
About the online thing....I have never ordered these types of meds online before, but I came close. Please, please be careful. Post, talk, whatever you have to do to take care of YOU.
I know the feelings all to well that these drugs give us are outstanding (for some anyway) including myself, but I would hate to see you head down a bad road.
And, about your post being popular~~That makes no difference whatsoever. I saw it and wanted to reply to you. I hope that you can use this forum to talk about your feelings instead of thinking about going online again for this stuff.
I just care and blessings and (((hugs))) to you!!!!!!!

> I was prescribed a cough syrup with codeine when I had bronchitis this past spring. I loved the stuff. I never had it before. It gave me a warm cozy feeling that helped me sleep. The gp gave me a big honkin' bottle of the stuff.
>
> After the bronchitis I vowed not to use it for anything else but a cough. Well, that lasted for about a month. Occasionally, when I had a stressful day, I took the syrup. Now it's gone. I nursed the bottle for 5 months.

> Then I discovered how to get dihydrocodeine (1.5 times as strong as codeine) on the web. I ordered it and some Valium. When it arrived I discovered that dihydrocodeine was far superior. It made me content and happy when I took it. I felt no withdrawal during the week when I did not take it.
>
> Generally I'm able to use only on weekends. I have not had any dihydrocodeine though for about a month.

> I've tossed around the idea of getting more. I'm reading on here that many people get terribly addicted to the stuff. I'm not feeling like I have to have more. I just like to use it occasionally. I find it far superior to any other drug I've ever tried (beyond my meds, of course.)

> Well, this post may not be popular. I can't say that I'll never use this stuff again. I'm waiting for next month where I will have some money to see if I want to order more.
