common? weelll...no. but if the reasons you are on 2 is because of chronic sleeplessness as well as panic attacks or daytime anxiety, then yes Dr.s sometimes do prescribe 2. i would be careful however, because klonopin IS long acting and may remain in your system for up to 24 hrs. in which case taking ativan on top is somewhat redundant. also increases the risk of dependancy.
