I do know that in the physicians manual at http://buprenorphine.samhsa.gov it says to excersize caution with mixing bupe and benzos due to some overdose deaths caused by IV benzo+bupe usage in france in the 1980s... Some physicians take this a little too far and are overcautious to the point of not prescribing benzos to bupe patients (even though the deaths were from massive dosages IV)... I have no idea how your doctor will react in your specific situation.
