They are filled with what seems to be dangerous times, don't they? Sometimes I can fly through them with no anxiety - and no drinking - and at other times it's just not so easy.
For me the most difficult part is not to anticipate what's ahead - I try to plan "alone time" activities - pampering stuff like facials and pedicures - or digging into a book I've been meaning to read but haven't made the time for. Making the solitary time a special time just for me seems to help a great deal. I don't have lots (read = any) friends IRL so I don't have to think about the social aspect of talking and relaxing without a drink in my hand, but it takes a while to break our old habits and learn new and healthy ones.
I will be home for most of the weekend. Please don't hesitate to babblemail me or post or whatever you need, whatever the time. I'll be looking out for you, too.
hugs,
pc
