Combos of Antidepressants

Posted by terrysquier on June 15, 2007, at 15:34:38

It seems to me that instead of increasing the dosage of any particular antidepressant, thereby exposing yourself to increased side effects, that coming, say, two SSRIs, such as Paxil and Zoloft, at a lower dose, and perhaps even adding Effexor, Reboxetine, and Milnacipran, all, again, at a lower dosage would serve the same purpose of increasing your serotonin and norephinephrine levels to the point desired to do away with your depression and at the same time not subject you to as many side effects that high levels of any one particular antidepressant.

Any thoughts on this theory?

Terry
