I mean i wasn't having enough to have like those 18-hour-long massive nightmare trips that i have read about, i only ever had enough to give me that nice cannabis-like buzz
Yes, it sounds like you are taking a low dose.
> (that i like considerably more than cannabis-- i don't much like cannabis anymore generally). So maybe you're just taking too much,Hmm.. I don't know. Is 5 medium sized nuts considered too much. How much do you take?
> or taking it the wrong way? I'm not sure. The only wrong way i know is to take pre-grinded nutmeg instead of bying whole nuts and grind them yourself. Is there anything else that i should know of?
> But if you are looking to trip then it might not be possible to have enough without having nausea & vomiting, i'm not sure.I think that this is true.
> Oh, also i wanted to say, Yeah, i've been trying for YEArs to find out the pharmacological actions of nutmeg. But all i've ever found were theories, possibilities, and ambiguous generalities. If you do ever discover this please share with us.I will. The Shulgin's theory that the essential oils of nutmeg are being metabolized to substituted amphetamines is highly controversial and remains a theory. The main mode of action of nutmeg is its profound anticholinergic effects, but i think there is more to it...
