What effect would Tenex/guanfacine have on

the cardiopressor effects of stimulants?

I am in my 20's and healthy. Every stimulant I've tried (Adderall, Ritalin, Dexedrine) has worked miracles on my inattentiveness, but also caused marked chest pain and tachycardia.

What role, if any, might Tenex have in this case?

Well Tenex is related to clonidine which is used separately for its possible properties in treating ADHD and rage, so that's one thing to keep in mind. It also is less sedating.

Its a blood pressure medication, not a beta blocker. Metoprololol or Toprol XL would address tachychardia better probably though there is somewhat of a calming effect from alpha-2 blockers such as Tenex.

Yes, they will reduce adrenergic effects of stimulants and aid late-night sleep (dopaminergic activity, free of adrenergic activity, up to a point is probably a good thing for sleep btw). Too much (or even the right dose) could definitely reduce the positive effects too. The proper dose could be just right for your purposes. There is more than a little research on the use you describe -- check google and pubmed.
