my pdoc has me on 60mg of cymbalta which I take at night
and on Clonazepam to sleep
i take 1mg and if i am still awake in an hour i take another .5mglast night i waited and took an additional .5mg
my brain chemistry at night is variable
when i see the pdoc next i am going to ask him to up my clonazepam--taking 2mg is no excessive--is it?I tried taking trazedone but i sleep too long and the next day i feel sad

I use to take 2mg, 4x/day when my anxiety was at it's worst. You should be okay :-)

It's not hypnotic enough and its half-life is so long that you will constantly have a higher-than-necessary level of clonazepam in your blood just for sleep, which will make you tired during the day.
Use a BZD/BZD-like drug with shorter halflife like Imovane or Lunesta./tensor

First let me agree,for some like myself TRAZODONE is a old dirty drug,you feel awful when u take it,awful when wake.
Klonopin is tricky,ive noticed unless i have high anxiety,taking a high dose of klonopin just to sleep actualy many times stimulated me.
What i found effective was adding the klonopin dose with either the light muscle relaxer zanaflex,or high dose nuerontion.
Also restoril is a benzo family drug,however its specific for sleep,classified as a hyptnotic and i have friends who swear by it,im still at awe wh anxiety benzos are given for sleep when resotril is actualy indiciated for sleep.
