I take 60mg Parnate and it works against my depression and social phobia but I have sexual problems with it: First its not easy to get an erection and hold it. Second as soon as I get an erection I get an orgasm but it feels like nothing. Have you the same experience and what can I do? Before I took LUVOX and and all these problems were absent.

i guess your own experiences are evidence enough. it must be the parnate right? no other changes?? AD's are notorious for creating ejaculatory issues. Have you googled your question? sorry no help...good luck

The SSRIs are known for delayed orgasm. Some more than others. I know that Nardil, in doses 60mg and up, causes delay in orgasm and ejaculation for me. I've only taken Parnate for short trials and can't remember the sexual side effects.
How long have you been on Parnate? Sometimes it takes the system some time to adjust. Especially when going from a medication that inhibits ejaculation to one that doesn't.
Good Luck,
