fish oil for SSRI poop out?

Hello,
Can fish oil protect against SSRI poop out?
Or if you take fish oil you have to take less of an antidepressant?

Yes you can, fish oil and inositol work to keep the serotonin receptors working optimally. Another good one is folic acid. In one study, 1mg of folic acid allowed people to half their SSRI medication.

Wowwww. Thanks for the info, Linkage.
This explains to me another reason my ND suggested that i add folic acid. (The fish oils have been just great for me).

Another question: is the folic acid good to be taken at the same time that i take my fish oils? And vit.E, too? i've learned that some suppliments i need to take on an empty stomach, some with food, some together in combo, and some should not be taken together. *whew!*
It's like choreographing a ballet to The Suppliment Symphony sometimes...
Can you offer an easy way to remember which is best taken with what?

Take the folic acid in the morning or at noon, try to avoid evening (some people find it a little stimulating).

I also find that I need to take my fish oil devided at each meal. The fat from a meal will enhance the absorbtion of the fish oil.

Take the vitamin e with the fish oil. From what I've read, fish oil and vitamine E work synergistaclly.
