I didn't have any needs improvement remarks on my monitoring forms at work before now.
Today I got one and I got upset. Of course I couldn't show this upset, so I did something I haven't done in probably 2 years. I cut. :-(
I used the sharp corner of a metal rular. I made three long cuts down my left arm.
It didn't make me feel any better.
I feel like hurting myself.
I can't stand this feeling.
I want to bang my head, cut cut cut, take various pills in excess, etc.
:-(

Deneb PLEEEASE don't do stuff like that. =(
You can't expect yourself to be perfect.
I don't know your situation, but often times at jobs they give those out to people who rarely get them just to keep them on their toes, NOT because they actually deserve them.
It's just a job, a way to earn money. Doesn't mean that much.

Thanks for responding Michael. I know it's just a job and I know my performance is still excellant and I'll most probably get a raise again, but I just take my job too seriously.
I ruined my perfect record.
I'll be OK eventually. I just need time to get over this.

Sorry Deneb. I'm glad that you're saying you need time to get over this.
When is your next T appt?
Perfection is not necessary. Sure, it might be nice to have it, but I think being human equals being imperfect. Also, I would suspect that being perfect is VERY stressful, as one could be always waiting for the dreaded first failure.
I hope you're feeling much better.
luv, Kath
