If he was a light user he might have a chance, google it and see what you come up with. He has not got a hope in hell of passing I'm afrad if he smokes nearly every day and only stoped in the last couple of days. If he's been smoking for a few weeks, months or years it's gonna take three to four weeks to get the weed out of his system, THC stores in the fat cells of the body so it's a bitch to get out fast.
All he can do is drink buckets of tea and water, take lots of vitamins and sweat. When he's peeing into the bottle he should start filling it midstream and not at the start of the pee. And he should not give his first pee of the morning. Theres a few products on the market like Golden Seal which is a herb that converts THC from a fat soluble molecule to water soluble, but in one night I doubt it's going to help.

There is really nothing you can do without a warning of at least 14 days. Teas, remedies, myths do not work. The best you can do at this point is flush out his system with liquids starting the night before. He should drink 1qt. of water before bed, everytime he gets up to pee he should drink another qt. Then start off with cramberry juice, about a qt. an hour. Then right before your piss appointment drink as much water as you can out of a gallon jug until you have to pee again. Right after you pee go to your appointment and wait to pee again (I guess he will give his sample to some weirdo who looks at penises all day with white gloves)
The point of doing all this is to get a clean passage of liquids going that hopefully they will bypass fatty cells, where THC builds up.

yup yup yup.
If possible drink water (lots of it) till the urine runs clear. That is when it is time to go get the sample done...
