The last option for bad PsychoStimulant Insomnia

According to the Laws of Common Sense, taking a sedative is a logical desicion, such as amytal, and valium. But these are tips for when you are out of luck chemically

You would praobly think that soothing music would do the trick, it doesnt, ive tried it, it tries to calm your mind, but your mind will continue to stay active, and be stubborn. At this point, we need some serious disipline, using LOUD stimulating music, it works!

If you have a Portable CD, or radio tuner, with extra base headphones, you are well equiped with knocking off adderall insomnia. Now i personally do not know how this effects everyone, but this almost 80-90% usally will put me to sleep.

1. Buy a fast beat, loud base, techno or dance song CD, sometimes Alternative Rock works too.

2. Or with the radio tuner, find a dance station, or alteranative rock, just wait for your song to play

3.Depending on you Ear drum, adjust to where it is tolerable, but still is considered moderaly loud to the brain.

4. When you find the best song, lets say a dance or techno song, just lay flat in the bed, eyes shut, and turn the volume UP. Then let your mind become one with the speeding beat, imagine yourself dancing HARD on a dancefloor, or fast or just in general a situation that you can imagine that is stimulating, and blend the beat with the song.

5. Repeat the song as many times as you need, or switch songs, and let your imagination blend with it about anything, a scene, a dancefloor, anything that is extremely stimulating. Usally during this, i get a sense of Euphoria, it feels great, depending if you like the beat.

6. I would say a full session is 30min-45, after this, your mind will be EXHAUSTED with projecting those images and beats and brain waves at that high of a rate. Sleep usally is a result in a way to recover, and thats what the main goal is. It's like a marathon Run, only in your mind, it will be soo tired, it will beg not another round. But if it still wants to keep you awake, take it for another round, this time volume increased, it wont stand a chance after this.

Anykind of Psychostimuant, even when the effects are worn off, keep the brain in the Alpha state, counsiousness, and can be a pain in the ass when sleep is required. Sometimes ill shut my eyes, and wake up 2 hours and nothing has happned, i usally cause mass destruction after that. But the LOUD music along with your minds imagery forces it into Beta State, the most awake, alert, active state, it may even send it higher than that. But for a period of 30-60min of this stimuation will EXHAUST all wave signals, and they will gradually lower down to recover, and may even lower into DELTA state, yea when your asleep.

I found this accidentlly one night i was up on Dexedrine, even after it wore off, still was awake and pissed. So i just turned on some trance mix, blasted away, and in about an hour my mind was begging me for sleep, it was a miricle.

Of course this does sound quite EXtreme, this is usally the last options you use when you will do anything to get some sleep!

Have a Nice day.....

Trazodone is a very effective sleep aid for Parnate-induced insomnia (Parnate is a mild stimulant). It might be just what you need, and it doesn't have the dependency issues of the benzos, either.

Well, I think I'm to the point of trying anything. Would country music work? How about some old Bo Didley?

Dang, I sleep for two or three hours a night for about four days and then crash for at least 14 hours. I'm on effexor, Inderal, xanax and various other meds for hypertension. No matter what time I take them or go to bed I rarely can sleep.

Maybe tonight, with the help of a case of Miller I will finally sleep!!!!!!

Use what ever song is stimulating to you, not relaxing, stimulating.

I've gone crazy from not sleeping on dexedrine, even after it wore off, it keeps your brain waves in Alpha State, being moderalty awake. The music would really give it a piece of its own medicine by going all the way up to Beta state, the max state of awakeness. Staying in that state for about 30-60min will defiently lower your brain waves because they are exhausted, and may put you to sleep.

Acually any song that gives you a sense of euphoria , can be used. Euphoria stimulates some dopamine which increase brain waves to Beta state, then you crash down to delta state.

Peaceful music does calm your mind, but it is not effective in reducing brain signals from psychostimuants, because the brain is being stubborn, and staying in alpha state.

Ask me any more quest. if needed
