Ketamine, the ultimate treatment for depression!!

Posted by topdog on September 3, 2014, at 12:41:20

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to let you know, that those who you are still struggling with this horrible illness called depression, there is an antidote available!!

I underwent the ketamine treatment three weeks ago and my depression is completely gone :) If you don't have access to a specific ketamine doctor or just do not have money for this over-rated therapy, there is a solution for you as well- just take the matter in your own hands and do it yourself, like i did! It is actually very simple 1 week procedure! You will be fine again from the day 1, trust me!!

If you want details about the actual treatment procedure and how to get the pharmaceuticals you need, just let me know!

Good luck!

Topdog

NMDA receptor blockade might not be important to the action of ketamine.

The therapeutic effects of ketamine might actually be due to its metabolite, hydroxynorketamine (HNK), which has no direct effect on NMDA receptors. HNK works as an antagonist of the acetylcholine nicotinic alpha-7 receptor. It also prevents the overproduction of D-serine, thus reducing the excitability of NMDA receptors. In rat studies, HNK, like ketamine, not only produced potent and rapid antidepressant effects, but also stimulated neuro-regenerative pathways and initiated the regrowth of neurons. It is quite possible that ketamine isn't needed at all. NNK is 1,000 times more potent than ketamine, does not act as an anesthetic or dissociative agent, and can be taken orally.

Scott,

what is your knowledge on HNK and psychosis?

Do those work together or no?

From what I've read, HNK does not produce psychosis nor dissociation. Given orally, it would seem to be an ideal alternative to ketamine.

Cool. Im not experimenting though until i am back on less than 300mg Seroquel only.

That way if something goes wrong, the dose of AP still wont be that high. Im noticing side effects.

Scott,

i can't find anywhere how far the development and studies are. Phase II? Phase III? When might it hit the market?

It might be a great addition to GLYX-13 or NRX1074 from Naurex.

I wish these treatments were closer! It seems like the NMDA modulating treatments from Naurex are about 1 to 2 years away from MDD patients!

I would be interested in the Naurex drugs if they could be delivered orally or intranasally.

HNK (hydroxynorketamine):

It is too early for clinical trials of HNK. I hope that it gets to be fast-tracked.

NRX1074 is orally available but not Glyx-13. Glyx-13 is further in development though. I wouldn't mind weekly injections.

If HNK is not even in clinical trials, then Naurexs´s drugs will be there before.

Just a reminder, the policy here is not to exchange information that could be used to import prescription medication without a prescription:

The benefits only lasted about a day for me. Also I started to abuse it (the nasal spray).

I hate to say it (sorry), but I did about 2 months of Ketamine treatment (IM) almost 2 years ago, and though I never had shock treatment, I think it's akin to it. Meaning, the benefits are temporary. It by no means cured my TRD, and, it actually made me slightly manic. I think it's good in a pinch. I'm coming out of a withdrawal and bad depressive episode, and had one K treatment with my doctor 2 weeks ago. It worked like a charm but only for the week.

Sorry =(. Just my experience.
