Patty,
Nice question. Are you referring to people on this site as a clique of people feeding off each others weakness. That's odd because I personally have received some great input here. I also hope along the way that my posts have helped at least one person.
It FEELS more like community but if some people don't understand, they certainly have the right.
I, by the way, have no problem with authority figures. In some circles I am one.

PS-I think that other mental health professionals or people dealing with serious mental health issues could have read about this syndrome, if it exists. Did you study empathy in your 'journey through mental health issues?
