I'm getting bi-polar treatment after years of resisting it. But, after my husband and I fell into a speed-abuse thing for about a year straight (and on & off for a couple years before)I FINALLY said enough is enough, went back to the dr. cleaned up my act and am trying, real hard, to keep it all together (fighting depression , mania and insomnia etc). Meanwhile, my spousal unit will conceed only that the speed thing had gotten "a little out of hand" (yeah, right) and that all our other "problems" (i.e. alot of aggression, anger flare-ups, general mean-ness, as far as I can tell, etc) are due to MY, now given a name and prescription, mental illness. Or as he says, its all because I'M crazy.
Lack of compassion is an understatement.
Why is it so hard for some men to just admit to being occasionally wrong or at fault? Rather, apparently in an attempt to "save face" they will let the evilness continue, even at the expense of their beloved family?
