I feel alot better today, after being able to finally realise that I'm not going mad, and that there are people who understand out there!! This is a wonderful site.

Unfortunately, any psychiatric illness has a huge stigma attached to it still, and I think Britain is probably worse than the US, as my Doctor doesn't seem worried about how I actually feel.. Just hands me the meds!!
