After she was gone I fell apart. After 3 mo. of agony I didn't care if it was like one flew over the cookoos nest cause I coukdn't puy it on my family because they were dealing with their own, so I admitted myself in the hospital. I was there for 3wks.Things weren't to bad for about a month. then I go depressed again not as severe this time ,but I did have to go to the dr. again. He tried numerous things but now I'm on Effexor 75 mg. 3 times a day, Klonopin 0.05 4 in the am. & 4 in the pm., also 200 mg.of Elavil at bedtime. I obsered your chat and decided you knew alot about depression than I do. I just wondered if there was anyone out there who could help me? I am tired of feeling numb I;m not happy and I'm not sad ,just one day I would like to feel happy to be able to laugh and have some energy. Instead of just going thru the motions. So is there anyone out there?

Leigh, hang in there and talk to your pdoc. Things can get better. Sounds like you've been through a lot! Am taking Effexor-XR too. Don't forget that people on this board are here for you.
