Re: Zoloft: Loss of effectiveness over time?

I'm having the same problem--to the extent that I was ready to pitch what meds were left in the bottle (btw, I take 100mg daily). And, also, I never adjusted to the little "tremor" thing and found that it did not cure my agitation ... plus seemed to make my memory worse.

I've been taking Zoloft for nine months, but feel that I've hit a plateau ... and I'm too frustrated with my doctor to suggest that she "up" my dosage or switch to something else. As it is, I ~hate~ putting chemicals in my body regularly, let alone adding to the menu.

If I indeed do approach my doc about switching my meds, what should I know about other AD's? Are there other common ones which are better than Zoloft that don't seem to have that plateau effect?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Sher
