Kerry - Zyprexa and lithium are beginning to be used together more and more. Both have mood stabilizing properties, but both also have a propensity to cause weight gain. Control your diet now (stay away from junk food) to avoid excessive weight gain.

Zyprexa has a very low risk of causing EPS or TD (very unlike Risperdal) and it works. That is why so many risk weight gain and continue to take it even if they do gain weight. It really does help a lot of people think clearer.

Glad to hear that you are on track to remission. I hope this guy can continue to help. I really like the team approach to therapy as well. Good luck and keep us posted - Cam.
