I originally began celexa for some long term moderate depression (20 mg). And added bonus is that it has decreased my anxiety greatly. In fact I haven't had what I call "an emotional spike" since I've began celexa (4 months now).

I haven't had any problems with weight gain, but I work out every day and keep my calorie intake under control. The first couple of weeks on celexa were a bit tough, but hang in there and the side effects wear off.
