Thanks for the response. No, I didn't take this drug while I was pregnant, I just started taking it about 6 weeks ago. My baby is 7.5 months old now. I had been on Zoloft for depression for about a year and a half before I got pregnant. I didn't take anything while I was pregnant and tried not taking anything for awhile after the baby was born but found that postpartum my depression seemed worse(I know this is common). Why did your doctor not want you to b-feed and take EffexorXR? I don't know if I should stop taking the drug or maybe try something else. I've tried Prozac, Paxil, and Zoloft but nothing seems to help for an extended period. I was getting migraines when I restarted Zoloft for a short period after the baby was born. A friend recommended EffexorXR so I decided to try it. I am not sure if it is helping, I have good days and bad days. My main concern now is the baby, and I don't want to hurt him in any way. But if this drug helps me and poses no threat to the baby, I don't want to stop needlessly. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
