Rudolph, Richard L. MD. Entsuah, Richard PhD. Chitra, Rohini. A Meta-Analysis of the Effects of Venlafaxine on Anxiety Associated With Depression. Journal of Clinical Psychopharmacology. 18(2):136-144, April 1998.
In this paper, a figure shows the adjusted mean Anxiety Psychic item scores over time for the three different dosage groups employed in this study and the larger and earlier anxiolytic effect of venlafaxine in the middle-dosage (150 to 225 mg/day) and high-dosage (300 to 375 mg/day) treatment groups {rather than the low-dosage groups (0-75mg)}.
So apparently, higher dosage means better outcome in anxiety.
