At least with Effexor the indication to take with food is there to avoid GI (tummy) problems. I take Effexor without food. Try it and see.
Otherwise, you could take Effexor in the AM, unless you need it to sleep or need to take it at
night to avoid side effects. Do check with your doc if you want to change your dosing time.james
