I started taking Effexor XR 5 months ago, starting at 75mg then going up to 150 mg/day. As my doctor requested I went down to 75 mg. Things were going pretty well. I don't like the idea of depending on drugs, so I deceided to start coming off them. I went to one pill every second day, and the withdrawl effects were VERY intense.
I've been totally off the pills for almost 7 weeks now, and still find myself having the lightheadedness, confusion, being tired, moody,distant...
Has anyone else gone through this? Will it stop? Does anyone have any suggestions?
I was soooo happy to find this site, I felt as if I was the only one with questions/prolems with this medication.
